Lawrence Co. Library will be closed until Nov. 30 to the public

Lawrence County Public Library

Due to COVID-19, we are closed to the public through November 30. However, we are offering curbside service Monday – Friday 10:00 a.m. – Noon and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. No exceptions.

*Library hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

*Curbside service is available for those with a library card in good standing. This includes books, magazines, and DVD check-out, as well as print, copy, fax, and notary services.

*To check-out an item(s), call the library front desk (606) 638-4497 ext. 1001.

*Provide your name and library card number. Items will be placed on hold for 2 days. If they are not picked up after two days they will be placed back on the shelf.

* Book check-out limit is still 20 books for two weeks.

*DVD check-out is still two days.

*Regular rates apply for copy and fax services. Notary services are free.

*New books can be viewed at: https://lcplky.org/new-reads/.

*Our online catalog is currently out of service. We are working with AT&T to remedy the issue.

*Books or DVDs will be placed at the W. Main Street entrance and staff will monitor pickup.

*Any crafts, book giveaways, take-and-make programs, etc. will also be available for pickup during the same hours. These items are first-come, first-served – while supplies last. None of these items will be held or reserved. Limit 1 book, craft, etc. per family. Programming items will be placed at both entrances.

*Outreach services have been suspended. If you have items that need to be picked up call the library.
