Re: Request to the Lawrence County Board of Education for creation, abolishments and/or changes regarding position(s):
Request for the following to be created:
- Instructional Assistant (Preschool) LWES (1-year)
Request for the following to be abolished:
- LBD Teacher at Blaine (1-year)
- (3) Preschool Instructional Assistants (1-year ESSER)
- (3) Preschool Teachers (1-year ESSER)
- Preschool Clerk at LWES (1-year ESSER)
- Instructional Assistant at LEES (1-year ESSER)
- Instructional Assistant at LEES (IDEA) (1-year ESSER)
- Maintenance I (4)(ARP ESSER)
Request for the following to be changed:
- Instructional Assistant (Community- Based Instruction Transition Coach) at LCHS to LBD Teacher at LCHS (1-year)
Request for the following ESSER 1-year position to be extended for the 2023-2024 School Year:
- Credit Recovery Teacher LCHS (1-year)
Mr Superintendent can you please tell me why you don’t push for a living wage for your hard working kitchen staff and janitors. They work hard and can’t make a decent wage. Less than $8 and hour for most. Shame on you.
There are things more important than fancy turf for football fields that you finally admitted to using money out of the budget to finish.
The only way your gonna fix the school system is to get rid of Fletcher,and vote new school board members with the best interestof our kids in mind,,it’s a shame to work for the school system and still qualify for government assistance,,,Dr. Fletcher doesn’t have this problem with his 130,000 income that will sure go up despite the low attendance…fire this man lawrence co.
