Just give the job to Deena we all know she has run the Library for last few years.

I am concerned your won’t find someone with a masters degree to work for $60,000 – I am having issues finding ADN (associates) to work under $72,000 – Good luck!

Yes give it to Deena! And pay her the same as previous administrator! It’s only fair! She’s more than qualified and to be quite honest all of those pre requisites listed mean nothing really. Just a bunch of hog wash! She’s been there for 15 plus years and knows all the ins and outs! Experience is far superior than credentials in a role such as that!

You don’t need a sheep skin to run it. Deena is the best choice. She has more than enough experience. Experience TRUMPS degrees a lot of the time. Also politics need be out of this selection.

The previous Director made near 90,000 why the cut?

    $50,000 a year with a master’s degree and continuing certification…

    Lololol

There won’t be anyone that will apply for that. 30k difference from the previous director? Absolute hilarity.

The lady filling in should have gotten her degree then she could have the job. She’s not qualified. The degree is necessary when problems arise. If what you people say is true anyone can walk into the classroom and start teaching. This is not the case although I agree that some off the street would be better teachers. Getting these degrees are not easy. People who work hard and get their degree should be rewarded.

  7. John says:

Do like they are when hiring teachers. You can have a degree in basketweaving and teach school now as long as you are working on your educational degree. There are time limits to get it. In the state of Ky., you don’t even have to get a Masters Degree now.

  8. The real KAG says:

True, look at what teachers are in the classrooms. No wonder our graduates cannot balance a check book or find Texas on a map.

    • John says:

      Welcome to Ky.
