Louisa, Ky. — On Tuesday the Lawrence Co. Girls soccer team improved to 6-6 with a shutout victory over Shelby Valley on Senior night 10-0.

Senior Leandra Curnutte led the Bulldogs with 3 goals, Senior Maggie Johnson had 2 goals and 2 assists, Senior Camber Maxie-Stepp had 1 goal and 1 assist, Senior Jxequoia Fountain netted 2 goals, Senior Abby Nelson had 1 goal and 2 assists, Kendyl Webb scored 1 goal, Senior Alexa Webb and Molly McClanahan had 1 assist each.
Abby Maynard was in goal for the victors.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Thursday versus Russell at home and then close out the regular season at Belfry on Monday night.

“… It was a great evening for senior night. We have 7 seniors this season which is the most we have had since the 2018 season. These girls have worked so hard this season and have kept us in every game we have played in. It has been an honor to have them on this team. The underclassman really look up to these girls and they will be missed next season.”
