COACH’S COMMENTS

“… It was great to be back in our gym playing in front of our amazing fans. We had a great crowd for our home opener. Great atmosphere.”

“… I feel in the first half we were battling some nerves and let their pressure get to us. We turned the ball over way too much. But I feel in the second half we got our bearings about us and cut those turnovers down and was able to play more how we want to play. Letcher Central is a tough physical team and it was a great game for us to open up with to help get us ready for the rest of the week.

“…I was very proud of our girls and how they battled through those nerves early on and was able to come away with a good win over a really good Letcher Central team. All the girls stepped up and did what they needed to do in order to help us win the game.”
