COACH’S COMMENTS
“… What a great experience for our girls to play in the 2A state tournament. We didn’t get off to a good start like we had the previous week. We didn’t defend and rebound like we had been. Give credit to Rowan they are a tough team that I know will be in a battle for a regional championship in the 16th region.”
“…I thought our girls really battled tough after we settled in. We just had too many turnovers to overcome and didn’t take advantage of opportunities late in the game that we needed to. I was very proud of them for how hard they fought and battled. We have a great group of girls and we will watch film and learn from this one. We will take this experience and get ourselves better. We have 2 tough district games this week so we gotta get ready for that.”
