Louisa, Ky. — After a full week on the diamond it looks like its going to be very competitive race for the Softball championship in the Lawrence Co. Cal Ripken Softball league 12U Division.
Games will be played every Tuesday and Thursday at Stella Moore Park beginning at 6:00 and 7:30.
The young Lady Dawgs are off to a hot start with victories over the Louisa Belles 10-5, Smitten Kittens 14-3 and Peoria Redwings 10-5.
Peoria Redwings have won 2 of 3 games with wins over the Louisa Belles 7-4 and the Smitten Kittens 12-8.
Louisa Belles garnered their first victory Tuesday night over the Smitten Kittens 13-8.
