Lawrence Co. and Tolsia battle in Youth League action

Lawrence Co. #23 Mitchell Frazier scoring on a touchdown pass from QB Chase Kendrick in the E team game vs Tolsia

Louisa, Ky. — The Rebels and Bulldogs hooked up at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial stadium on Saturday in youth league football action. 

LC # 5 Connor York scored two touchdowns vs Tolsia on Saturday for the D Team

Lawrence Co. Running Back Connor York had two touchdowns in the D team game to lead the Dawgs to a 20-0 victory. York got LC on the board just before halftime with a 65 yard touchdown and Adam Ratcliffe tacked on the two point conversion to give the Dawgs a 8-0 lead at Halftime.

In the second half Ratcliffe had a one yard touchdown run with 4:09 to go in the game and York added a 47 yard touchdown run to set the final score at 20-0 Lawrence Co. Robert Evans lead the Rebels with 10 tackles. 

In the E game even though score isn’t kept the Bulldogs got a touchdown on the ground and two through the air from QB Chase Kendrick, Mitchell Frazier scored three touchdowns on the day, one rushing and two receiving. Jason Vanhoose and Jorel Fountian scored one apiece. Jake Smith of the Rebels scored two touchdowns on the ground. 

The Bulldogs don’t have a C team so Vinson traveled to Louisa and played Tolsia and came away with the victory. 

Vinson took care of Tolsia 36-16 in the C team game. Luke Fetherolf and Jacob Litton scored for the Rebels in the defeat. 

The Rebels don’t have a B team so Lawrence Co. traveled to Wayne and came up short. Cody Crum had the only touchdown for the Bulldogs. 

 

Tolsia D teamer Robert Evans had 10 tackles on the day vs Lawrence Co.
