Georgetown, Ky. —  After being no hit on Tuesday night against Big Sandy, the Lawrence Co. 12U All Star team bounced back in a big way with a 11-1 victory over Montgomery Co. on Thursday night at Suffoletta Park.

Morrison Chicko twirled a no hitter for Lawrence Co. in 12U baseball action this weekMorrison Chicko tossed a five inning no hitter and Mason Preston hit a first inning no doubt two run home run to get the LC all stars rolling.

Kaden Gillispie had three hits including a triple and scored three times from the leadoff spot. Jacob Fletcher had two hits and scored two runs, Ethan Whitt had two doubles and scored two runs, Chicko had two hits including a double to help himself, Brayden Maynard had a double and Luke Johnson chipped in with a single.

Lawrence Co. 1-1 will need a win tonight vs South Lexington to advance into the single elimination tournament starting tomorrow. Game time tonight is 6:00.
