UPDATE ON WALMART re-opening
LOUISA, Ky. — (Friday, July 29, 2016) The Levisa Lazer visited Walmart today to find out about the updates on the progress of each department openings after the tornado damage forced the temporary closing of the popular store.
The departments that remain closed are lawn and garden, electronics, hardware, sporting goods, toys and photo lab and connection center.
After speaking with manager Marti Bishop and other managers the projected completion of the entire store is 2 weeks; however they remain hopeful that it will be sooner.
Walmart has added a new addition to the checkout section. They now have self checkout beginning today.
