LADY REBELS GETTING HOT AT THE RIGHT TIME

West Union, W. Va. — The Lady Rebels of Tolsia ( 10-9 ) made the long trip to Doddridge Co. on Saturday and came away with a 60-50 victory over Cameron ( 11-6 ) in the Hometown invitational tournament. 

Sarah Jude had 16 points in a victory over Cameron on Saturday afternoon

Sarah Jude and Mariah Finley had 16 points each for the Rebels. Finley also had 10 assists, Taylor Parsley tallied 11 points, Allyssa Cloud chipped in with 9 points, Tasha Nichols had 5 points and Kayla Jude finished with 3. 

On Monday night Tolsia traveled to Poca to play Clay Co. ( 11-9 ) in a neutral site game and were victorious once again this time by the score of 50-28. Mariah Finley had 15 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds, Sarah Jude had 12 points and 5 rebounds, Taylor Parsley and Allyssa Cloud had 8 points each, Tasha Nichols tallied 5 points and 11 rebounds, Kayla Jude chipped in with 2 points and 7 boards. 

Tolsia will travel to Rival Tug Valley on Thursday night then host South Point ( OH ) on Saturday evening at 6:00 for Senior night.

“… I’m proud of our team over the last stretch of road games. Lots of miles and tough competition, they’ve held up well and competed hard. We hope to be playing our best as we prepare for a tough sectional tournament coming up.”
