Lawrence Co. Head Coach Melinda Feltner

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… We were lucky to come out with a win tonight against a veteran East Carter team. We jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter and didn’t value the possessions and gave up our lead. We had too many unforced turnovers and we have to make decisions with the basketball. We missed way too many free throws. We have to do a better job at the free throw line. We are definitely happy to come out with a victory. We will work on it in practice on Friday and get ready to play a tough 14th region team in Hazard on Saturday.”

“… Denet is an amazing young lady who always keeps us on our toes. She and the girls have built a special bond. We love having her on the bench with us and being our manager.”

“… Ellie is a wonderful student athlete. She’s been an amazing teammate and one of the most coachable kids I’ve had the privilege of coaching. She’s having a great senior year. She works extremely hard and is a great example for our younger girls. We are definitely going to keep working hard so she can have a great ending to her senior season.”
