Greenup County Man Arrest for Rape, Sodomy, and Sexual Abuse
GREENUP, KY. – (February 25, 2020) On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 members of the Kentucky State Police responded to investigate the recorded rape of a 16 year old female who told detective’s she had been forced into an intimate relationship with her mother’s paramour, starting at age 11.
Through investigation evidence was collected which implicated Mark Miller, age 52 of Argillite, Kentucky and the case was presented to the Greenup County Grand Jury. An Indictment was returned on February 18, 2020. Mr. Miller was arrested after a short standoff with KSP and charged with: Rape 1st degree, 2 counts of Rape 2nd degree, 4 counts of Rape 3rd degree, 2 counts of Sodomy 3rd degree, and 5 counts of sexual abuse 1st degree. He has been lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
The case is still under investigation by Detective David Boarman.
