Kevin Gregory Zornes, Sr., 67, of Catlettsburg, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023 at his home.

Gregory was born October 25, 1955 in Ashland, KY.

Gregory is preceded in death by his parents Blackie Zornes and Betty (Porter) Coffey; children Kevin Gregory Zornes, Jr. and Gary Glenn Zornes; grandparents Glen and Sophie Porter; aunt Mary Alice Cline; and special friend Mike Meade.

Survivors include his sister Christie Ernest and special friends Virginia Griffith and Sue Meade.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Zornes and his family.

    Greg was a hard worker, easy going, and an all around good guy. His son Gary was my best friend. His losses over the last 18 months were so tragic and unbearable. I know exactly what happened to this man and his family. He truly died from an irreparably broken heart. No one should ever go through what he went through. I hope he finds rest and peace, he deserves it.
