Kentucky’s Attorney General joined several law enforcement leaders in Eastern Kentucky for a roundtable Monday to discuss several issues in the region.

Daniel Cameron joined sheriffs and police chiefs from across the region at a roundtable in Lawrence County.

“Many of the public safety challenges we’re seeing in communities across the Commonwealth stem from the drug crisis, and today’s roundtable underscores our commitment to supporting local law enforcement as they confront this scourge,” said Attorney General Cameron. “These men and women are on the frontlines of this fight, and together, we will continue to take steps to stem the tide of this epidemic.”

The roundtable was organized by Lawrence County Sheriff Chuck T. Jackson.

“Partnerships among local and state law enforcement are essential to addressing the public safety challenges we face in our communities,” said Sheriff Jackson. “I am thankful to Attorney General Cameron for standing with us in the fight against the drug epidemic, and I appreciate my colleagues who joined us today for this important discussion.”

Sure can tell it is getting close to election time. Ol Chuckie trying to make it like he does something. LOL

“Partnerships among local and state law enforcement are essential to addressing the public safety challenges we face in our communities,” said Sheriff Jackson. LOL he sure isn’t capitalizing on the possible partnerships or mutual aid he could have from surrounding counties. Just trying to say “Look at me, I am sheriff”. SMH

TO CITIZEN: Do you know the inner goings on of what any of the Sheriffs Office employees do? You must be a Mark Wheeler groupie. And no, I’m not taking up for them. In fact, I’m a criminal myself. But I dont go sticking my nose into stuff I’m ignorant of.

Welp looks like you do go around sticking you nose into stuff you are ignorant of!! I speak from personal knowledge that chuckie and few of his deputies don’t do much at all. Also know there are partnerships out there he could go after and utilize but his and his groupies arrogance won’t allow him to. Sad times in LC when you elect a politician instead of a sheriff!!!

“ In fact, I’m a criminal myself. “ Lol…enough said. Lot of criminals like him but why not since he turns blind eye so people will like him and vote for him.
