GREENUP, Ky. (June 8, 2022) – .On June 7, 2022, The Kentucky State Police Post 14 was notified that William Lucas Ferguson, 27, of Ashland, had possessed images of child sexual abuse material, and had potentially sexually abused a child.

Detectives responded to investigate and obtained evidence that indicated Ferguson had manufactured child sexual abuse material and had sexually exploited a child under 12 years old.

Mr. Ferguson is currently charged with 10 counts of use of a minor in a sexual performance under 16 (Class-B felonies punishable by 10-20 years in prison), 1 count of sexual abuse in the first degree, and 1 count of sodomy in the first degree. Mr. Ferguson was lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.

The investigation is being handled by Detective Boarman.
