KENTUCKY STATE POLICE SPECIAL ELECTRONIC CRIME UNIT CHARGE TWO PULASKI COUNTY MEN WITH SEPARATE CASES OF CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OFFENSES

Two Pulaski County, Ky. men were busted by a state police special unit after they were discovered to be engaging in illegal criminal activity in separate unrelated involving child pornography.

ALLEGED PULASKI COUNTY, KY. CHILD SEX PORN CREEP SUSPECT #1: WILLIAM BRANDON COMBS, 27, OF BURNSIDE, KENTUCKY.

 

In the first case, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch located and arrested William Brandon Combs, 27, of Burnside, Ky., on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.

 

William Combs was interviewed and arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect communicating and exchanging sexually explicit images with juveniles online.

 

The investigation resulted in a search warrant at 134 Tateville Antioch Rd, Burnside, on October 5, 2021. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

 

William Brandon Combs is currently charged with one count of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance. This charge is a Class-B felony punishable by ten to twenty years in prison. Combs is also charged with five counts of possessing matter portraying a minor over the age of 12 in a sexual performance. This charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

 

If found guilty and convicted in a trial on all charges, William Brandon Combs could face a sentence from 15 years to 45 years in state prison.

 

William Combs was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center in Somerset, Ky., whereupon he has since been released from the jail after he posted his bond.

ALLEGED PULASKI COUNTY, KY. CHILD SEX PORN CREEP SUSPECT #2: JAMES JOSEPH STAGG, 27, OF SOMERSET, KENTUCKY.

 

In the second earlier case, on September 30, 2021, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch located and arrested James Joseph Stagg, 42, of Somerset Ky.,on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.

 

James Stagg was interviewed and arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect distributing sexually explicit images online.

 

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at 500 Ridge Hill Trail, Somerset, on September 30, 2021. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

 

James Joseph Stagg is currently charged with 14 counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance. This charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

 

If found guilty and convicted in a trial on all charges, James Joseph Stagg could face a sentence from 14 years to 70 years in state prison.

 

James Stagg was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center; where he has been released from the jail after posting his bond.

 

The Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is comprised of more than twenty-six local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The mission of the ICAC Task Force, created by the United States Department of Justice and administrated by the Kentucky State Police, is to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in developing a response to cyber enticement and child sexual abuse material investigations. This support encompasses forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services, prevention, and community education. The ICAC program was developed in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the internet, the proliferation of child sexual abuse material, and the heightened online activity of predators searching for unsupervised contact with underage victims.

KENTUCKY STATE POLICE CHARGE MCCRACKEN COUNTY MAN FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES AT CARLISLE COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL

A McCracken County, Ky. man who is employed as a middle school teacher in a neighboring county was arrested on sexual offenses at the school where he worked.

 

Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1, in Mayfield, Ky., have charged a teacher after an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact with a student.

 

In August, KSP Post 1 received a report regarding a Carlisle County Middle School teacher who allegedly used force to inappropriately touch a student at the school in Bardwell, Ky.

 

On Wednesday, September 30th, the Carlisle County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Clay A. Tilford, 37, of West Paducah, Kentucky. Tilford is charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, Victim Under 12 Years of Age (Class C Felony) and Voyeurism (Class A Misdemeanor). He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

 

The investigation continues by the Kentucky State Police Post 1.

KENTUCKY STATE POLICE SPECIAL ELECTRONIC CRIME UNIT CHARGE LINCOLN COUNTY MAN WITH CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OFFENSES

ALLEGED LINCOLN COUNTY, KY. CHILD SEX PORN CREEP SUSPECT: JOEY LEE WARDLE, 45, OF HUSTONVILLE, KY.

A Lincoln County, Ky. man was busted by a state police special unit after he was discovered to be engaging in illegal criminal activity involving child pornography.

 

On September 23, 2021, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch arrested Joey Lee Wardle, 45, of Hustonville, Ky., on charges related to child sexual abuse material.

 

Joey Wardle was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect uploading images of child sexual exploitation online.

 

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Hustonville on May 13, 2021. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Joey Lee Wardle is currently charged with one count of possessing or viewing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance. This charge is a Class-C felony punishable by five to ten years in prison.

 

Joey Wardle was transported to and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center in Somerset, Ky., where he is being held on a $100,000 full cash bond, and he was scheduled for his first court appearance on October 4, at 2:00 P.M., in Lincoln County District Court.

KENTUCKY STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE SEXUAL ABUSE CASE AT STATE PRISON IN OLDHAM COUNTY

KIMBERLY RENEE CURRY, 50, OF CAMPBELLSBURG, KENTUCKY.

 

A Henry County, Kentucky woman was arrested by the Kentucky State Police in connection to a sex crimes case at a state prison.

 

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, the Kentucky State Police Post 5 dispatch in Campbellsburg, Ky., located in Henry County; received a call from the Kentucky State Reformatory, a medium-security state prison for adult males in La Grange, Ky, located in Oldham County; in reference to a sex abuse complaint involving an inmate at the facility.

 

A Kentucky State Police Post 5 detective responded to the facility. KSR staff as well as the KSP detective interviewed Kimberly Renee Curry, 50, of Campbellsburg. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Kimberly Curry, who is charged with two (2) counts of Sodomy 3rd Degree and two (2) counts of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree.

 

Kimberly Curry was taken to and lodged at the Oldham County Detention Center in La Grange; where she was shortly released after posting her bond.

 

The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by the Kentucky State Police Post 5.

PENDLETON COUNTY, KENTUCKY ADULT TEENAGE WOMAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL CRIMINAL ABUSE OF TWELVE YEAR OLD BOY IN KENTON COUNTY, KY.; MADE THE BOY CALL HER ‘MOM’

 

A VERY DIRTY GIRL: MORGAN NICOLE ROBERTS, 18, OF FALMOUTH,, KENTUCKY.

 

A Pendleton County, Kentucky adult teenage woman is accused of raping a 12-year-old boy three different times.

 

Morgan Nicole Roberts, 18, of Falmouth, Ky., faces rape and sexual abuse charges.

 

Officers with the Ludlow Police Department in Kenton County, Ky., said the boy’s mother contacted them after finding a text on her son’s phone that read, “I took your V card and you liked it”.

 

Police talked to the boy who said the sexual abuse happened once at his house, once at Roberts’ house and once at a friend’s house in Ludlow.

 

The boy was able to describe Morgan Roberts in ways that were only possible if he’d seen her without clothes.

 

Two of the boy’s friends also said Morgan Roberts admitted to the abuse.

All three boys said Morgan Roberts made them call her “mom,” police said.

 

Morgan Nicole Roberts was arrested September 16 by the Pendleton County Sheriff Department, and was charged with three different counts each on three separate offenses: *SODOMY 2ND DEGREE, *RAPE 2ND DEGREE-NO FORCE, *SEXUAL ABUSE, 2ND DEGREE.

 

Morgan Roberts was transported to and lodged in the Kenton County Detention

Center in Covington, Ky., where she has since posted and is currently out on bond.

    Absolutely disgusting!! Hope they never let these people see the light of day again!!! Addiction is a disease that can be fixed… Sadly, these people are the reason so many end up doing drugs. To escape the trauma of what happened to them when they were young. It’s sadly what caused me become one. I still have PTSD from it… But, because of God, willpower, drug court, a lot of therapy, and a wonderful support system I’ve been sober since April 24, 2019. #wedorecover but give me 5 minutes alone with each of these end they’ll never hurt another child! Makes me physically sick!!
