Kenneth R. Chaney, 66, of Louisa, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 26, 2018. 
Kenneth was born February 14, 1952 to the late Elster and Melinda Chaney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Carol Shrader and Gail Sams; and his brothers Clyde “Bud” Chaney and David Chaney. 

Kenneth attended Fort Gay Freewill Baptist Church and was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. 

Surviving are his wife Marcia Chaney; son Kenneth Ray (Angela) Chaney II;  grandchildren Kara Leann Chaney and Mckinnah Dawn Smith; sisters Linda (William) Kirk, Barbara Hammond, and Nancy Matney; brothers Ronnie (Bonnie) Chaney, Benny (Beverly) Chaney, and Bryan Chaney; step sisters Donita (Randy) Webb and Debbie (Larry) Copley; and step mother Ann Thornsberry. 

Funeral services for Mr. Chaney will be conducted Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Young Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with Brother Wayne Meddings officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Young Funeral Home. 

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Chaney.
