Judith Ann Guss

1942 — 2018

 

Judith Ann Guss, 76, of Louisa Kentucky, peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on February 25, 2018.

Judith was born on January 4, 1942 in Sandusky, Ohio to Harold and Katherine (Schweinfurth) Hazen.  She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1960 and worked for G&C Foundry as a Bookkeeper for several years until becoming a homemaker. She married the love of her life and best friend, William (Bill) on April 10, 1965. Judith adored her family, loved her dog Abby, knitting, playing cards, bowling, bingo, and of course, the Kentucky Wildcats.

In addition to her husband William, Judith is survived by her sons, John (Christine) of Sandusky, and Brian, of Louisa; daughter Katharine also of Louisa; her two grandchildren, Taylor and William II (BJ), both of  Sandusky; brothers, Richard (Penny) Hazen of Mesa, Arizona, Steve Hazen of Sandusky, and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 1270 Highway 2565 Louisa, KY 41230

Burial will take place on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE, Grayson, KY.
