Joyce Ann Cook, 65, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Louisa, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Joyce was born on August 13, 1954 in Louisa, KY to the late Taylor and Beulah (Smith) York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Charles Lee Parsons, Gene Shattfield, Paul York, Fearn Jones, and Carolyn York.

Survivors include her daughters Carmeta (Earl) Twinam and Sherry Cook; grandchildren Earl Twinam II, Tommy Twinam, Natashia Ford, Anthony Hersmen, Auston Hersmen, and Autumn Hersmen; 12 great grandchildren; brothers Archie (Lisa) Parsons and Richard Taylor (Denise) York; sisters Diane (Danny) Maynard, Betty Lou (J.R.) Stamper, Jerry (Clifford) Parsons, and Linda (Eddie) Dodds; and many nieces and nephews including 2 special nieces Kimberly York and Melissa Mounts.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Tommy Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Valley Memory Gardens in Huntington, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Cook and her family.
