Joseph Lee McKinster, 68, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Joseph was born December 17, 1953 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Claude and Mary Ellen (Spencer) McKinster. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers James McKinster and Jesse McKinster.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years Doris McKinster; daughter and son in law Laura “Leah” (Brad) Triplett; beloved granddaughters Amber Elizabeth Triplett, Allie Nichole Triplett, and Braylee Faith Triplett; brother Claude “Wes” McKinster; and sister in law Sandra McKinster.

As were Joseph’s wishes, there will be no public services.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. McKinster and his family.
