BLADE RUNNER: KRISTIE LEGENA BLAIR, 47, OF OIL SPRINGS, KENTUCKY: IS CHARGED WITH MURDER & ASSAULT, AFTER STABBING TWO PEOPLE TUESDAY NIGHT IN JOHNSON COUNTY.

One person is dead and another seriously injured after a stabbing Tuesday night in Johnson County.

Johnson County Sheriff Doug Saylor stated to area media outlets that the stabbing call came in just after 8:00 P.M. Tuesday night, November 2.

One woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person that was stabbed was taken to Highlands Appalachian Regional Hospital in serious but stable condition, but has been transferred to the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville.

The names of both victims have not been publicly released as of yet by authorities.

Law enforcement officers identified the stabbing suspect as Kristie L. Blair, 47, of Oil Springs. Ky., was arrested by deputy Jeffrey Castle of the Johnson County Sheriff Department said she is charged with:

  • MURDER; and
  • ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE.

The deadly stabbing incident remains under investigation by the Johnson County Sheriff Department and the Kentucky State Police.
