JOHNSON COUNTY, KY. GRAND JURY RETURNS FORTY INDICTMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER SESSION; OVER THREE -QUARTERS OF INDICTMENTS FOR BAIL JUMPING, NON-CHILD SUPPORT

The Johnson County, Kentucky Grand Jury returned on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and issued 40 indictments, of which over 30 of the indictments were made of two different charge groups.
Of the 40 indictments returned by the grand jury, 25 were for first degree bail jumping, and 8 were for flagrant non-support of child payments.
Those named in the 40 indictments from the September session of the Johnson County Grand Jury are as the following:
Jason B. Curtis, 40. of Staffordsville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on February 7.
Gregory Shepherd, 41, of Prestonsburg, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on March 6.
Alice Lucas, 30, of Inez, Ky., was charged via two indictments, with failing to appear in circuit on February 21, and also July 24.
Alexander Ray Jaynes, 45, of Sitka, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on March 6.
Chad M. Deer, 33, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged via three indictments, failing to appear in district court on three felony charges on June 17.
Ricky L. Goble, 56, of Hueysville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on July 1.
Deborah Dicenna Hamilton, 41, of Thelma, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on July 1.
Melissa Sue Wagoner, 45, of Sitka, Ky.,was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on July 1.
Arthur E. Salyers, 47, of Thealka, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on August 7.
Johnathan N. Owens, 36 of Paintsville, Ky. was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on August 7.
Heather Halcomb, 45, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on August 14.
William R. McCarty, 34, of Hager Hill, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on August 14
Leonard J. Brackett, 57, of Hager Hill, Ky., was charged via two indictments, with failing to appear in circuit court on two felony charges on August 21..
Adam D. Rohr, 31, of Meally,Ky., was charged with via two indictments, with failing to appear in circuit court on two felony charges on August 21
Rodney A. Castle, 49, of Staffordsville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on September 4.
Alex R. Castle, 38, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on September 4.
James Robert Castle, 39, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on September 4.
Craig A. Preston, 41, of Flat Gap, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on September 4.
Kayla R. Jones, 32, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on September 11.
Robbie Reed, 42, of Salyersville, Ky., was charged with failing to appear in circuit court on September 11.

Richard A. Dorton, 35, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged with flagrant non support of $30,080 in court-ordered child support to Melsissa Lambe from December 5, 2013, to July 31, 2020
Stefanie L. Toth, 31, of Flat Gap, Ky., was charged with flagrant non support of $2,400 in court-ordered child support to Betty Goss from August 1, 2012 to July 31, 2020.
Robert M. Bowens, 51, of Boons Camp, Ky., was charged with flagrant non support of $50,329.81 in court-ordered child support to Joann Bowens from June 3, 2005, to July 31, 2020.
Matthew W. Caudill, 39, of Hager Hill, Ky., was charged with flagrant non support of $5,835.56 in court-ordered child support to Melissa Lamb from March 1, 2005 to July 31, 2020.
Rory S. Laney, 42, of Offutt, Ky., was charged with flagrant non support of $6,305.10 in court-ordered child support to Peggy M. Vanhoose from March 1, 2005, to July 31, 2020.
Charles David Lemaster, 34, of Hager Hill, Ky., was charged with flagrant non support of $4,195 in court-ordered child support to to Rebecca C. Sexton from December 5, 2013, to July 31, 2020
Darrell D. Money, 58, of Paintsville, Ky., was charged in two separate indictments, with flagrant non support of $18,422.10 in court-ordered child support to Samantha O’Neal from October 1, 2004, to July 31, 2020; and was also charged with flagrant non support of $3,586.34 in court-ordered child support to Michelle D. Alexander from February 7, 2008, to July 31, 2020.

Lee Doernte, 60, of Sitka, Ky., was charged with two counts of First-Degree Wanton Endangerment, for allegedly engaging in conduct that created substantial danger of death or physical injury to Jennifer Burke and Randy Burke on January 5, 2020.
Nicholas Dean Ferguson, 41, and Lacy D. Howell, 22, both of Sitka, were charged with Second-Degree Burglary/Complicity and Third-Degree Criminal Mischief, for allegedly entering and remaining in a house and damaging property at 2774 Ky. 201, owned by the late Harold Witten and maintained by his daughter, Pam Trimble, on February 29.
Nicholas Ferguson was additionally charged with First-Degree Persistent Felony Offender for having been previously convicted of two felonies, and Resisting Arrest, for allegedly attempting to prevent officers with the Kentucky State Police and the Johnson County Sheriff Department from arresting him by using of threatening to use physical force against the officers.
Lacy Howell was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Second-Degree Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension, for allegedly attempting to prevent officers with the Kentucky State Police and the Johnson County Sheriff Department from arresting her by using of threatening to use physical force against the officers, possessing burglary tools, and rendering assistance to a person with the intent to hinder apprehension, prosecution, or conviction.
Josh Anthony Scott, 33, of Debord, Ky., was charged with Second-Degree Escape and First-Degree Persistent Felony Offender, for allegedly escaping the custody of Martin County Jailer Ivan Muncy while in transport to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, on August 7, and for having been previously convicted of two felonies.
Lindsay Jenniefer Osborne, 40, of River, Ky. was charged with First-Degree Promoting Contraband, First-Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Second-Degree Persistent Felony Offender, for allegedly introducing, obtaining, or possessing Suboxone into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on August 31, and for having been previously convicted of a felony.
Glen M. Staniford, 39, of Tutor Key, was charged with Possession of Handgun By A Convicted Felon, for allegedly possessing a .380-caliber handgun on July 23, after having been previously convicted of a felony.
Glen Staniford is charged in a second indictment with First-Degree Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Second-Offense Operating a Motor Vehicle Under The Influence of Alcohol/Drugs Within 10 Years/Aggravating Circumstances, Possession/Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating On A Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License, Failure To Produce Insurance Card, and Careless Driving, for possessing methamphetamine, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances, while his license was suspended or revoked, without possessing a proper insurance card, and in a careless and disregarding manner on July 23.
