THERE HAVE BEEN 13 ARRESTS IN JOHNSON COUNTY SINCE  MAY 11 OUT OF THE TOTAL OF 43 PRISONERS FROM JOHNSON, LAWRENCE, MAGOFFIN, AND MARTIN COUNTIES COMBINED BOOKED AT THE BIG SANDY REGIONAL DETENTION CENTER IN PAINTSVILLE FROM MAY 11-25:

Chanda Collier, 20, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 13, 2020, at 2:20 A.M.,by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE,

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY,

• RESISTING ARREST.

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT).

Sabrina Bentley, 40, of Pikeville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 12:41 A.M.,by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, and was charged with:

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE,

• RESISTING ARREST,

• MENACING,

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (MINOR INJURY).

Larry Bartley, 26, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 3:37 P.M., by deputy Chadwick Penix of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• SPEEDING 26 MPH OR > SPEED LIMIT,

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER,

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (MOTOR VEHICLE)-[3 SEPARATE CHARGES COUNTS],

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (ON FOOT),

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE,

• DISREGARDING TRAFFIC CONTROLLED DEVICE-TRAFFIC LIGHT,

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $10,000 OR MORE.

Diana F. Gatewood, 29, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 14, 2020, at 3:41 P.M., by deputy Chadwick Penix of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT)-[2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS),

• PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT PROPER CONTAINER 1ST OFFENSE,

• RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY $10,000 OR MORE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED,

• WANTON ENDANGERMENT-2ND DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER.

Danny L. Vanhoose, 37, of Thealka, Kentucky; was arrested on May 16, 2020, at 9:45 P.M., by trooper Ryan Hale, of the Kentucky State Police, Post 9-Pikeville, Kentucky; & was charged with:

• FAILURE TO OR IMPROPER SIGNAL,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFF

• FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD,

• LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION,

• IMPROPER EQUIPMENT,

• CRIMINAL TRESPASSING-3RD DEGREE,

• SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT.

Jeffery W. Osborne, 39, of River, Kentucky; was arrested on May 15, 2020, at 8:13 P.M., by deputy Jason Arms, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• OBSTRUCTED VISION AND/OR WINDSHIELD,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• OPERATING VEHICLE WITH EXPIRED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE,

• NO REGISTRATION PLATES,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INS/SEC, 1ST OFFENSE,

• REGULATION > TITLE REQUIREMENTS VEHICLE NOT OPERATIONAL ON HIGHWAY,

• FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE,

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

Glen A. Fairchild, 38, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 17, 2020, at 1:17 A.M., by deputy Lauren O’Bryan, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT),

• RESISTING ARREST,

• PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL).

Aaron K. Croll, 32, of Hagerhill, Kentucky; was arrested on May 17, 2020, at 9:38 P.M., by deputy Jeffrey R. Castle, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE-POLICE OFFICER OR PROBATION OFFICER,

• DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 2ND DEGREE,

• RESISTING ARREST,

• TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE,

• ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).

Ricky Lynn Fletcher, 26, of Hagerhill, Kentucky; was arrested on May 19,2020, at 9:09 P.M., by deputy Jeffrey R. Castle, of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES), 2ND OFFENSE,

• OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATORS LICENSE,

• FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE,

• IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE,

• PROBATION VIOLATION (FOR FELONY OFFENSE).

Eric Z. Reynolds, 33, of David, Kentucky; was arrested on May 20, 2020, at 1:08 A.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE DATING VIOLENCE (MINOR INJURY),

• STRANGULATION 2ND DEGREE.

Billy J. Elam, 73, of Meally, Kentucky; was arrested on May 25, 2020, at 3:53 A.M.,by an officer of the Paintsville Police Department, & was charged with:

• THEFT BY UNLAWFUL TAKING OR DISPOSITION ALL OTHERS $10,000 OR MORE BUT UNDER/$1,000,000.

Chad M. Deer, 33, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 25, 2020, at 4:35 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY,

• FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 1ST DEGREE (ON FOOT).

Terri Curtis, 29, of Paintsville, Kentucky; was arrested on May 25, 2020, at 5:12 P.M., by a deputy of the Johnson County Sheriff Department, & was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY
