Lawrence Co. Head Coach Chandler Thompson

COACH’S COMMENTS

“… I’m not going to make any excuses at all, we were here to play this game and I thought our kids were focused for the most part. We had some defensive breakdowns and that led to not rebounding as well. We shot the ball extremely well in the first half but cooled off in the second and they remained steady throughout the game. Coach McKenzie told me before the game that they had been struggling to score the ball but tonight they didn’t have much trouble putting up 83 points.”

“… I told our bunch after the game that we can compete with this bunch and and that we can beat them. Something that we can build on. Looking forward to our trip to Owensboro even though this was a tough loss tonight. With the schedule that we have played and our record so far I will take it.”
