Johnnie D. King 

1951 –2017

Johnnie D. King, 66, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Johnnie was born September 5, 1951 in Louisa, the son of the late John Carter and Nancy King. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Judy Porter. Johnnie was a retired surface mine foreman and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his loving wife Justine Branham King; two daughters; Mallisia (Roy) Dillon of Fallsburg, KY and Becky (Monroe) McCoy of Louisa; a son Johnnie Dale King Jr. (Nancy) also of Fallsburg; two sisters, Ruby Thompson of Louisa and Patty Harrison of Fort Gay, WV; four grandchildren Kaitlyn King, Courtney McCoy, Hunter King, and Emily Dillon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Oct. 25 at 2:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardwick Cemetery on Bromley Ridge Fort Gay, WV.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
