John Mart Thornsberry, 87, of Louisa, KY passed away Monday, March 23, 2020 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Mr. Thornsberry was born May 25, 1932 in Bevinsville, KY to the late Harmon and Ida Pauline Hall Thornsberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Bertha Ames, Idith Blackburn, Edith Thornsberry, Edna Thornsberry, Hettie Noble, and Gracie Johnson..

He is survived by his wife, Doris Thornsberry; two sons, Rick Thornsberry and Timothy Slone; two daughters, Anna Spriggs and Marsha Slone; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 protocol for funerals set by Gov. Andy Beshear, a private funeral service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Price officiating.  A private burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
