John H. Wellman, Jr., 70, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
John was born June 21, 1948 to the late John H. and Arta Wellman. John is survived by his wife of 43 years Rita Wellman; his children Frankie Wellman, Henry Wellman, and Melissa Walsh; daughter in law Angel Ferguson; three grandchildren Timothy Endicott, Brittania Wellman, and Hunter Wellman; four great grandchildren Aubrey Endicott, Madelyn Endicott, Bryce Endicott, and Tyler Thompson and expected in March 2019 Ava Grace Thompson.
Funeral Services for Mr. Wellman will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Wellman Cemetery with Brother Doug Ison and Brother Roman Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Wellman Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family at his home on Deer Lick Branch Road beginning after 2:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 until the time of services on Wednesday.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Wellman.
