Joey Stepp, 79, of Georgetown, KY, formerly of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2024. Joey was born March 28, 1945 in Louisa, KY to the late William Raymond and Margaret Joyce (Childers) Stepp.

Joey was a veteran, having proudly served in the US Army. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Joey loved animals, especially his dogs. and volunteered at the food bank before moving to Georgetown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Verla Stepp.

Survivors include his daughters Dana (Rafael) Angon and Joann (Greg) Brandenburg; grandsons Cole Brandenburg and Levi Brandenburg; brothers Randall Stepp and James Stepp; sisters Rosemary Borders, Donnajean Cox, Becky Preston, and Carol Williams; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hilltop Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Childers Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 after 5:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Stepp and his family.
