ACCUSED JEWEL THIEF, STELLA MOORE BANDITS AMONG ELEVEN CHARGED BY GRAND JURY

Lawrence Co., Ky. —  Grand Jury Indictments for November includes a group that the GJ says stayed in the Stella Moore concession stand, getting high and stealing food and drinks from the facility. It is also apparent that Lawrence Co. is once again cracking down on deadbeat parents. Non payment of Child Support among the indictments. 

Eric D. Nolan, 34 of Bidwell Ohio indicted on Assault 1st Degree, a class B felony (Penalty 10 to 20 years).

The Grand Jury charges that on or before August 11. 2016 in Lawrence Co. that Eric Nolan knowingly and unlawfully caused serious physical injury to Mr. Robert Crum of Louisa, KY. by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. Bail set for 20,000.

John D. Moore, 32 of Columbus, Ohio indicted on Possession of Controlled Substance In the 1st Degree, a class D felony (Penalty of 1 to 3 years) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 1st offense, a class A misdemeanor (Penalty not more than 12 months).

The Grand Jury charges that on or about Aug. 22nd, 2016 in Lawrence Co. that John Moore knowingly and unlawfully possessed a Controlled Substance, heroin and was in the possession of Drug Paraphernalia by being in the possession of an altered spoon, two syringes and baggies. Bond set at $5000.00.

Carlos HayesCarlos Hayes, 48 of Louisa, Ky. Indicted on charges of Receiving Stolen Property under 10,000, a class D felony (Penalty 1 to 5 years) and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree (Enhancement)

The Grand Jury Charges that on or before April 1st, 2016 through July 25th, 2016 in Lawrence Co. Carlos Hayes knowingly and unlawfully being in the possession of jewelry stolen from G & R Pawn Shop of Louisa with the value of $6,945.00 and having been convicted of a prior felony or felonies after the age of 21 and within 5 years of the date of commission of this charge, the defendant is charged with Persistent Felony Offender. Bond set for $10,000.

John W. Allen, 39 of Louisa, Kentucky Indicted on Theft By Unlawful Taking Over 10,000. A class C felony (Penalty of 5-10 years)

The Grand Jury Charges that From April 1st, 2016 through July 25th, 2016 that John Allen knowingly and unlawfully took over $32,855 worth of jewelry from G & R Pawn Shop (Gary Moore) of Louisa, Ky. Bond set at $10,000.

Keith PenixKeith Penix, 25 of Louisa, Ky. Indicted on the following charges. Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a class D felony (Penalty of 1 to 5 years) Possession of Controlled Substance in the 1st Degree/Complicity a class D felony (Penalty of 1 to 3 years) and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor (not more than 12 months)

The Grand Jury charges that on or about Aug. 9th, the defendant knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in an outbuilding located at the Stella Moore Ball field, he knowingly and unlawfully acted alone or in complicity with Amanda Thomas acting alone or in complicity with Jessica Blevins was in the Possession of a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine. Defendant acting alone or in complicity with Amanda Thomas was unlawfully in possession of pipes, syringes and a plastic baggie containing residue. Bond set for $5000.00.

Amanda ThomasAmanda B. Thomas, 34 of Louisa, KY. Indicted on charges of Burglary in the 3rd Degree/Complicity a class D felony (Penalty 1 to 5 years) Possession of Controlled Substance in the 1st Degree/Complicity a class D felony (Penalty 1 to 3 years) Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Degree a class A misdemeanor (not more than 12 months) Theft By Unlawful Taking Under $500.00 a class A misdemeanor (not more than 12 months).

The Grand Jury charges that defendant acting along or in complicity with Keith Penix knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in an outbuilding located at the Stella Moore Ball field, she knowingly and unlawfully acted alone or in complicity with Keith Penix acting alone or in complicity with Jessica Blevins was in the Possession of a controlled substance, namely Methamphetamine. Defendant acting alone or in complicity with Amanda Thomas was unlawfully in possession of pipes, syringes and a plastic baggie containing residue. Amanda Grim Committed the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking under $500.00 by knowingly and unlawfully took a case of soft drinks, and various food items from the concession stand at the Stella Moore ball field. Bond set at $5000.00. 

Jason L. Vanatter, 34 of Olive Hill, Ky. indicted on 2 counts of Burglary 3rd Degree a class D felony (Penalty 1 to 5 years) and Persistent Felony Offender (enhancement). The Grand Jury Charges that on or about September 13th and 19th in Lawrence Co. by knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained in Walmart of Louisa, KY after being banned from Walmart properties on June 27th, 2014 (see Boyd Co. case) On Sept. 19th, 2016 Vanatter knowingly and unlawfully entered and remained in Walmart of Louisa, Ky. after being banned from Walmart properties on June 27th , 2014 (see Boyd Co. case) Bond set at $10,000.

Christopher Howell, 32 of Louisa, KY. indicted on Flagrant Non Support, a class D felony (penalty 1 to 5 years) The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 1st, 2009 through Aug. 31st, 2016 in Lawrence Co. the defendant failed to pay child support to Pamela Waller as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $17,827. Bond set at $5000.00.

Matthew Diamond, 31 of Knoxville, TN. indicted on Flagrant Non Support a class D felony (penalty 1 to 5 years)

The Grand Jury charges that on before December 1st, 2004 through Aug. 31st, 2016 in Lawrence Co. the defendant failed to pay child support to Brenda Boyd as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $14,880.55. Bond set at $5000.00.

Christopher Bartram, 31 of Louisa, Ky. indicted on Flagrant Non Support a class D felony (penalty 1 to 5 years)

The Grand Jury charges that on before June 1st, 2009 through Aug. 31, 2016 the defendant failed to pay child support to Ronda Stafford as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $22,965.10. Bond set at $5000.00.

Liberty Drinkard, 41 of Nicholasville, KY. indicted on charges of Flagrant Non Support a class D felony (penalty 1 to 5 years) and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree (Enhancement)

The Grand Jury charges that on before June 2nd , 2009 through Aug. 31, 2016 the defendant failed to pay child support to Larry Jordan as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $16,031.99. The defendant is now more than 21 and was previously convicted of a prior felony or felonies when he/she was at least 18 years of age, which sentence imposed a term of imprisonment of one year or more and the offender either: Completed service of the sentence the previous felony offense within 5 years of the date of commission of the instant offense or was in custody or escaped from custody of said previous felony at the time of commission of this offense. Bond set at $10,000.00.
