Jerald  Wayne Doss

1945 – 2016

Jerald  Wayne Doss, 71, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, WV. 

Jerry was born February 19, 1945 in Madison, WV a son of the late Elmer Rexall and Maxine Mae McMellon Doss. He was a retired retail manager and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Lycans Doss and a niece, Kelly Dawn Helms.

Survivors include, two daughters, Amia  O’Brian of Louisa, Ky.; Angie (Jay) Meredith of Louisa, Ky.; brother, Fred (Alisha) Doss of Sod, WV.; sisters, Karen Sue Doss of Alum Creek, WV; Diane (Carrie) Lucas of Lexington, Ky.; Cathy (Lynn Rogers) Lucas of Charlotte, NC; Pamela (Mick) Robinson of Cape Coral, Fla.; grandchildren, Brooke Keesee and Zachary Keesee both of Louisa, Ky.; nephew, Freddie (Tammy) Doss Jr. and their children Olivia and Lucas of St. Albans, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00 until 9:00PM Monday, May 23, 2016 at First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, First United Methodist Church or Emogene Dolin Hospice House.
