Janice F. Chaffin, 78, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

Janice was born December 15, 1945 in Louisa, KY to the late John Paul and Florence (Sparks) Meade. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Chaffin; brother John Paul Meade, Jr.; and sisters Helen Crabtree, Phyllis Smith, Eunice Fletcher, and Lois Miller.

Janice was a retired secretary for the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children and was a member of Louisa Freewill Baptist Church.

Janice leaves behind her sister in law Dorothy Copley; many nieces and nephews, including special nephew and niece Tom Miller and Lisa Copley; and her caregiver Jean Brooks Smith.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Osborne, Tom Copley, Lewis Pack, Tom Miller, Ron Miller, and Steve Sargent.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 4, 2024 after 11:00 AM in the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Chaffin and her family.
