James Wilkinson, 75, of Louisa, KY went home to be with his Lord on Friday, June 28, 2024. Jim was born December 10, 1948 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Albert Wilkinson and Eileen (Pennington) Wilkinson Compton.
Jim was an ordained Minister and a member of New Friendship United Baptist Church. He was a member of Apperson Masonic Lodge #195 F. & A.M. and Louise Chapter #292 Order of the Eastern Star. Jim loved to read the Bible, play his guitar, fish, and watch car races.
Jim is survived by his wife Ona Wilkinson; special aunt Effie Short; sisters in law Wauletta Stevens and Frankie Perry; brother in law Winfred Frazier; special cousins Nora and Darren Lemaster, Glenna Sue and Joe Reed, Ron Pennington, Arnold Pennington, and Joy and Charles Isaac; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Yellow Creek Little Country Church with Pastor Greg Caudill and Brother Bill Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the McReynolds Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Wilkinson and his family.
