James W. Scott 75 of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday Nov. 8, 2019 following a long illness.

James was born Sept. 19, 1944 at Warfield, KY the son of the late Walker and Reba Dye Scott. He was a retired crew leader for the Special Metals Co. at Burnaugh, KY and a member of the New Life United Baptist of New Hope Association.

Survivors include his loving wife Carolyn Kazee Scott; two daughters Karen Hay and husband Charles and Marlena Osborne and husband Jesse all of Louisa; two sons James D. Scott and wife Lora and Andy Scott and wife Trisha also of Louisa; two sisters Mary Moore and Nada Scott; a brother John Scott; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Nov. 12, at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Elders Albert King, Romey Spears, and T.I. Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Kazee-Scott Cemetery on Highway 3399 Louisa.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday Nov. 10, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday Nov. 11, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home. A church service will be held on Monday at 6:00 pm.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
