James M. Daniels

1946 — 2017

James M. Daniels, 71, of Louisa, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Daniels was born June 21, 1946 to the late James and Laura (Green) Daniels. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Adams and his brother, Richard Daniels.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Jemima Daniels; daughters Julia (Darrell) Keene, Melissa (James) Moore, and Shawna West; grandchildren Anita Vanderpool, Daniel Keene, Anna Keene, Autumn Sites, Zachary Moore, and Kaylen West; great grandchildren Victoria Lewis, Adaline Lewis, and Avery Sites; sisters, Earlene Webb, Mary Lemaster, Carolyn Jordan, and Patricia Lilly; brothers, Eugene Daniels, Harold Daniels, and Roger Daniels; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Daniels was a member of Favorite United Baptist Church and a retired school bus driver for the Lawrence County Board of Education.

Visitation for Mr. Daniels will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Young Funeral Home from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
