James Edward Marcum, 79, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his home.

James was born April 25, 1943 in Micco to the late Walter and Essie Helen (Perry) Marcum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters Louellen Marcum, Karen Keyser, and Mary Elizabeth Elkins; and one brother Lark Marcum.

James was of Christian faith and enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Survivors include his three sisters Sally Irene Runyon of Ashland, KY, Barbara Woodall of Johnstown, OH, and Myrtle Blagg of Johnstown, OH; two brothers Delmar Joe (Maxine) Marcum of Fort Gay, WV and Walter (Linda) Marcum Jr. of Louisa, KY; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Marcum Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Marcum and his family.
