Jack O. Fairchild, 85, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Jack was born July 15, 1937 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Gay and Mildred (Caudill) Fairchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Alex Riner; and siblings Iris Kerschberger, Roger Fairchild, and Bill Fairchild.

Jack was a retired grocer. He was a very hardworking man, and never missed work. Jack loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. He was an avid UK Wildcats fan.

Survivors include his children Tammy Tackett, Patricia (Lowell) Miller, and Jack Russell Fairchild; grandchildren Ashley Fairchild, Abby Fairchild, Kaitlin Riner, Olivia Miller, Eric Miller, Griffyn Fairchild, and Josie Fairchild; great grandchildren Anna, Josh, Callie, Ida, Xander, Camille, Chase, Kimberlynn, and Malena; siblings Avonelle Cyrus, Wanda Stone, and Hager Fairchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairchild-Lemaster Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Fairchild and his family.
