INFANT KILLING EVIL SCUM: AMANCIO TORRES-TREVINO JR. (PHOTO TOP) 20, & KAELA BREANN WALKER (PHOTO BOTTOM), 20, BOTH OF LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY WERE BOTH ARRESTED AFTER HE ABUSED HIS THREE MONTH OLD BABY RELATIVE WHO LATER DIED; WHILE SHE NEVER REPORTED TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS ABOUT THE BABY’S SEVERE INJURIES WHEN FILING FOR AN EMERGENCY PROTECTIVE ORDER THE NEXT DAY.
A infant baby boy who police say was hospitalized in critical condition after being physically abused in Lexington has died.

According to the Fayette County Coroner’s office, three (3)-month-old Greyson Torres died Wednesday afternoon, October 2, at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington. The county coroner said the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Two people are now facing charges in connection with the case. An arrest citation report stated the injuries to the child were described as being the “result of intentional physical abuse.” The arrest citation also stated that the doctors responsible for caring for the baby say the child’s injuries were life-threatening.

The arrest citation named Amancio Torres-Trevino Jr., 20, stated the abuse happened on Sunday, September 29, in the 2800 block of Alumni Drive. According to the citation, Anmancio Torres-Trevino was alone with the child, who is a relative of his, when the injuries happened.

Kaela Breann Walker, 20, is also accused in the case. Kaela Walker’s arrest citation says she never reported the abuse to law enforcement or social workers. Kaela Walker filed an emergency protective order (EPO) against Amanacio Torres-Trevino for herself and the baby on Monday,  September 30. In the filing, Kaela Walker claimed that Amancio Torres had abused the infant while she was at work Sunday.

Amancio Torres-Trevino and Kaela Walker were both arrested Tuesday, October 1, each on the charges of

  • CRIMINAL ABUSE, 1ST DEGREE-CHILD 12 OR UNDER.

They were both taken to, booked, and lodged in the Lexington Fayette County Detention Center. They both appeared in court Wednesday and entered pleas of not guilty. Both of their bonds were set at $150,000 full cash only each.

There has been no information yet on any new charges Amancio Torres-Trevino Jr. and Kaela Breann Walker could be now facing.

Separately, Amancio Torres-Trevino Jr. was already facing legal trouble before this deadly infant abuse case, when he was arrested in a different domestic violence case nearly a year ago in nearby Jessamine County, KY., the then 19 year old Amancio Torreswhen on October 27, 2023, he was arrested by the Nicholasville Police Department on the felony charge of

  • STRANGULATION, 1ST DEGREE, and misdemeanor
  • ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.
