Need more information on this situation. Why couldn’t SFST be performed? Why wasn’t she lodged to Paintsville in BSRDC? Sounds like she swindled her way out of something.

Turn her loose. Damn cop didn’t have to put that bribery shit on there just trying to make yourself look good hell she could’ve been joking with that bastard

.08 come on Barney Fife. Thank god they got this hardened criminal off the empty streets of Inez. Posting her pic all over the internet. Keep trying maybe the media can destroy what little future she has, especially if she stays in Martin County. It must really be a slow news day. Hey Barney go get Ottis. Then put it in the Lazer.

Is this Garmon Preece’s granddaughter? Makes me think there is some kind of bad blood with him since he was previous sheriff. I think posting this article is in poor taste. How many others get DUI’s and there aren’t articles posted about them.

Did not realize who was being charged, just what for.

I’m with you JustWondering. This is not exactly breaking news. Not sure why they want to destroy her.

  6. Bennie says:

He should have just said no to bribery unless she was persistant. We need cops, but they are power drunk and hateful sometimes. Especially some of the sheriff deputies in LC.

I can’t tell if she was arrested in MC or LC? Not the most informative article.

You are right but we have updated the story with the name of the Lawrence Co. deputy who answered call about a driver on Rt. 23, 12 miles from Louisa. You can see the name of the deputy on the original story now (July 1, 2023), Joseph Osborne.

  7. Honest opinion says:

Being honest, the fact most of these are being down on the cop that arrested her. But it would be completely different is she would have hit and killed someone or caused someone else to wreck because of her driving. Sometimes people just need to take accountability for their actions.
