Horace Buell Wellman

1931-2017

Horace Buell Wellman, age 86 of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2017.

Mr. Wellman attended Heritage Free Will Baptist Church. U.S. Army Veteran Korean War. Retired from Big Bear after 24 yeas of service . He is preceded in death by wife of 58 years, Helen “Maxine” Wellman and their son, James Wellman; parents, Jay and Flossie Wellman; brothers, Jack, Kenneth, Lucian, Lon, Earl, and Loran Wellman; sister, Alice Adkins.

Survived by daughter Lois (Larry) Moore of Columbus; 10 grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Mary (Gary) Blake; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 25, 2017 beginning at 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio, Pastor Dr. Tim W. Stout officiating.

Graveside service Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Louisa, Kentucky at Greenlawn Cemetery. Local arrangements with Young Funeral Home in Louisa.
