Louisa, Ky. — After falling to Floyd Central in the 58th District tournament the Lawrence Co. volleyball landed two on the all District team.

Seniors Holly Jordan and Kyleah Ward were named to the 58th District team after the VolleyDawgs went 7-22 this past season.

Jordan, Ward and fellow senior Whitney Moore have been selected to participate in the Kentucky EAST/WEST ALL-STAR games at Louisville Seneca High School on Saturday, November 20, 2022.

The ladies will play in 3 sets no matter the outcome of the first two. 180 college coaches from 7 states have been invited to attend either in person or virtual nationwide on the NFHS Network.

The event has commitments from college coaches at all levels DI, DIl, DIll, NAIA and junior college. Every college coach will be given access to your contact information for contact and recruiting purposes.

Registered athletes will receive a custom jersey and metal commemorating the event. In addition, players will receive a contact list of the college coaches. You will be playing with high level high school players that represent 75 % of the teams currently in the top 25 in Kentucky.

Lawrence Co. Head Coach Autumn Blevins

COACH’S COMMENTS
