Mrs. Hazel M. Hogston, 83, of Webbville, KY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

Hazel was born March 30, 1938 in Lawrence County, KY to the late John Lewis and Elva (Crabtree) Evans. She was a devout follower of Christ and a member of Waterson Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Dewey Ray “Buck” Hogston; one sister; and seven brothers. Survivors include her children Ralph Douglas (Laura Ruth) Hogston, Rick Dewayne (Terry) Hogston, John William (Shirley) Hogston, Rita Diane (George) Salyer, and Elva “Sis” (David) McCoy; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; sister Mary Margaret Nigel; brother in law Lincus Hogston; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick May and Rev. James Allen Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Leadman Cemetery in Webbville.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6:00 PM  – 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Hogston and her family.
