Harper’s Hope 10th Annual Golf Scramble To Benefit the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics
LOUISA, KY – On Saturday, June 3rd, Harper’s Hope will host its 10th Annual Golf Scramble to Benefit research for Angelman Syndrome. All the proceeds will go to the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST). The event will happen at the Yatesville Lake Golf Course in Louisa, KY starting at 8:00 am.
About Harper Randi Webb
Harper was born June 4, 2012, and was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome just 11 months later. Angelman syndrome is a rare neuro-genetic disorder that affects about one in 15,000 people. Harper has a deletion of chromosome 15.
Together, we CAN cure Angelman syndrome. FAST researchers know exactly what causes Angelman syndrome (AS) and have already cured it in the laboratory. Much of this pioneering, critical research was funded, one dollar at a time, by members of our FAST community- people like the Webbs!!
Today, this research has led to the announcement of several revolutionary clinical trials that hold the potential to treat, and ultimately cure, this rare disorder.
