On Saturday October 26, 2019, the Lawrence County Tourism Committee hosted another fun filled evening. The theme of the evening was “Nightmare in the Square.” The event was held at the Main Park in Louisa KY.

There were many activities for the children and adults to enjoy. They had live music, while Mr. Nightmare made sure the children was entertained. The children got to get their faces painted and adults as well. They had an Halloween Costume contest. They had an Balloonists making animals and things out of balloons.

The haunted hayride started at 7 p.m. It took us through town, up Townhill Road, around the cemetery. We had a couple of Gremlins come from the graveyard and Chase us. The children really enjoyed this!

Treats were given out to the children at the event as well as concession were sold. Everyone had a blast. Thanks to all who made this possible for our community!

A fun time was held by all who attended the Fallsburg Campground this weekend. They had Trick or Treat Saturday evening, October 26, 2019.

My daughter, Alyssa, and I went to the Nightmare in the Square. It was a lot of fun. She was in the costume contest, and won for scariest costume. That’s why you see me making a silly “scared” face while on the haunted hay ride. Thankful that I’m able to take my daughter and enjoy these things now. Especially seeing our wonderful sheriff, Chuck Jackson, being put in “jail”
