Greenup Co. snaps LC’s three game win streak

Lloyd, Ky. — Lawrence Co. ( 3-2 ) had it’s three game winning streak snapped on Friday night 38-14 at 4A Greenup Co. ( 3-2 ) as the Musketeers held the Bulldog offensive attack under its average for points and yards.

The state’s leading rusher, LC’s Noah West had 122 yards on 25 carries and 2 touchdowns on runs of 3 yards and 9 yards. West completed 1 pass for 7 yards to Jaxon Johnson.

Caleb Fletcher added both extra point kicks.

The Bulldogs had 287 yards on the ground as Dalton Ferguson finished with 42 yards, Dylan Sizemore 37 yards, Trey Dotson 30 yards, Jarrett Fairchild 27 yards, Ashton Blankenship 27 yards, Trevor Young 6 yards.

Lawrence Co. 0 7 7 0 – 14
Greenup Co. 6 13 7 12 – 38

The Bulldogs will return home to face state ranked and one loss Paintsville (4-1 ) next Friday night. Greenup Co. will host East Carter.
