George Edwin Little

1931 – 2016

George Edwin Little, 84 of Louisa passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Jordan Center in Louisa.

He was born in Chattaroy, West Virginia on November 10, 1931 to the late Fred and Bessie Little.  George was Deputy Sheriff in Lawrence County for many years and was a Kentucky Colonel. He also attended the Old United Baptist Church.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Nell Terry-Little on July 19, 2013; a daughter in law Ahmberleigh Little and five siblings Ruby Robertson, Boyd Little, Fred Little, John Henry Little and James Little.

Mr. Little leaves behind a loving family including three daughters; Connie (Dale) Presley of Louisa, Debbie (Ray) Little of Louisa and Becky (EK) Belcher of Catlettsburg; two sons Bill Little of Louisa and George (Cora) Little of Fallsburg; a daughter in law Brenda McCloud; two brothers Don (Dorothy) Little of Beavercreek, Ohio and Lemmie (Darlene) Little of Fort Gay; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren with one more on the way.

Funeral Services will be held on at the Young Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Fitch Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the Young Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 6-9 pm.
