George Adkins Jr. III

1962 — 2018

 

George Adkins Jr. III, 55, of Louisa, KY passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

George was born September 11, 1962 in Louisa, Kentucky to the late George Adkins Jr. II and Minerva Kelly Adkins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers and sisters and a little dog, Benjamin.

He is survived by a girlfriend, Jodee Trimper, two daughters, Samantha Staniford and Elizabeth Burchett, all of Louisa, KY, three sisters, Larna Mae Sprouse of Webbville, KY, Loretta Fannin and Karen Adams, both of Louisa, KY, one brother, Douglas Adkins of Newark, OH, and four grandchildren, Hannah Staniford, Gabby Blevins, Savannah Mollette, and Kayden Logsden.

Mr. Adkins was employed as a Steel Mill Worker.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 1pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery on Meades Branch.

Friends may visit the family on Wednesday May 16 from 4-9pm at Wilson Funeral Home.

All care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
