Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit and Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Fort Gay area and arrested Rodney Robertson, of Fort Gay, for a felony warrant.
Robertson is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin after an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit in the Lavalette area. A distribution quantity of Heroin was seized during the investigation. The Wayne County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit has received numerous tips on the suspect.
Rodney was also arrested on June 4th by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department (Kentucky) and D.I.C.E for Trafficking Heroin, Importing Heroin, and Tampering with evidence. A large quantity of Heroin was seized during the investigation.
