Vandalism at Oak Grove Church on Paddle Creek

On the Monday morning of June 12, 2017 Fort Gay, WV residents awoke to sickening acts of vandalism by as yet unknown individuals.

Several Locations were vandalized with spray painted graffiti of crude language and graphic drawings at numerous locations including Oak Grove Church on Paddle Creek Road where the vandals sprayed horrible graphic images and words on the side of the Chapel.

Vandalized Novelty store on Rt. 37

The town citizenry is outraged that a person/persons would degrade a house of worship or any property in this manner. The State Police have been notified and are holding an investigation to find the person/persons involved and responsible for these acts.

Besides the church, other locations including a Novelty Store on Rt. 37, a spray painted symbol on the Road near Big Hurricane Creek, numerous road work signs and mail boxes around this area.
