Sheriff Rick Thompson stated that two suspects from Fort Gay were arrested today after a drug investigation by the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West.
Trevor Starkweather is charged with (2) Counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Cocaine and Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine.
Gregory Lewis is charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance- Cocaine and Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine.
Sheriff Thompson stated that the Violent Crime and Drug Task Force West is made up of the WV State Police, U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, and Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.
Both suspects were taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Cuffed Task Force, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, and WV State Police.
